Where its due

I pinched the images of records of this guys blog, I dont own a camera so I cant take pictures of my own collection. Beef was fairly placed, but still lets not get irate. I used it because its a blog where you can get music, hence the picture of records.

His own blog is extremely good and has a lot of in depth detail about the records and bands and I suggest you check it out, Im guessing its an Aussie blog because he cant belive Extortion and I get the vibe from his comments that he thinks rest of the world 'does'nt know about them'.

War Machine

My lovely lady went on Ebay this morning and won me this. When I was around 8 or 9 I used to go to a friend of the family's house before and after school till my folks finished work to play video games with their three boys who me and my older brother went to school with. Their Dad was big on Marvel comics and the house was full of boxes of comics, as well as all the shelves jam packed with figures and models. Some were even in their original packages! How many people can say they've seen Issue #1 of X-Men and Spiderman? A fair few, and I'm one of them! Back to my point they had an Iron Man and this guy, and at the time I had no idea who he was. They educated me on who War Machine was and I even got to read a few issues. I was hooked and he quickly became my favourite super hero and still is to this very day. Ive managed over the years to collect every issue and even other issues the War Machine character has appeared in and even a few figures, but I could never find this guy until today, Still in its box this fella came out in like 94 and I'm soo hyped on it! Thank you Naomi, you truly are the shit. X

But its doesnt stop there, for you see there are other figures out there and unfortunately I used to own one of these but being a kid I played with it for hours on end and im pretty sure its lost now, next im on the hunt for these!

Mens Interest - Demo '08

Hard and distorted sounds from the US (Boston maybe). They have a demo tape which is now sold out on Painkiller Records (Link on the side on the page) Heavily influenced by bands like Black Flag and Rorschach its a nasty sounding demo the first track is killer. Can't really get much more info on this band which is a shame, I read that they had split up and played their last show with Vaccine in December 2009. Why do all the good ones go?
